2012 Scouter Appreciation Dinner

Scouters, please come join the Northeast Iowa Council in recognizing and showing our appreciation for all of our fantastic volunteers at the 2012 Scouter Appreciation Dinner! The dinner will be held at Thunder Hills Country Club in Peosta on March 10th, 2012 and will be $18/ plate. Volunteers from the Dubuque, Dellaykee, and Exploring Districts, as well as District and Council level volunteers, will be recognized for their service and achievements over the last calender year! 

Along with recognizing our volunteers, the Northeast Iowa Council will be giving out a limited edition recognition item to the first 200 people through the door! The Council will also be unveiling the brand new design for our Council Shoulder Patch which will be available for purchase that evening!

All nominations will be accepted now through February 1, 2012 for the District Award of Merit, Boy Scouter of the Year, Cub Scouter of the Year, Venturing Leadership Award, and Silver Beaver. The Scouter Spirit Award nominations will be due by February 17th, 2012. All of these awards can be viewed be clicking on the award name! Upon completion of the nomination you may fax, mail, or e-mail the form to the Council Office. All nominations must be in or postmarked by the designated date or they will not be considered!! 

Please take the time to nominate someone from your Unit for the Scouter Spirit Award (one person from each Unit can receive this award) and submit nominations to your District for all other awards!! We hope to see you at the 2012 Scouter Appreciation Dinner!!
